Registration for member and non-member delegate and student registrations includes access to all sessions from the 4-6 of December 2018 and includes the welcome reception and the conference banquet. Optional tours at an additional charge will be available for Friday the 7th of December 2018.

Attendees of this year's AAEE, ASCILITE, LAK and iLRN conferences wishing to also attend TALE 2018 are entitled to register for TALE 2018 at IEEE member rates. Evidence of attendance at the alternate event will be required to take advantage of this offer. Through a reciprocal arrangement that has been negotiated, participants who register and pay for IEEE TALE 2018 can also attend ASCILITE 2018 at ASCILITE member prices. Confirmation of TALE payment is required to obtain the discounted rate.

IMPORTANT: Each IEEE member- or non-member delegate registration for the conference will cover a maximum of two papers; each student member- or non-member delegate registration will cover a single paper only. Extra fees apply for additional papers beyond these quotas. All accepted and registered papers from the academic stream that are presented at the conference will be published in the conference proceedings (USB with ISBN), submitted for inclusion into the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, and submitted for potential indexing by other prominent scholarly databases including Scopus, Ei Compendia and CPCI.
The above quotas do not apply to the practitioner stream, as abstracts from that stream will NOT be published in the conference proceedings, included in IEEE Xplore or submitted for indexing.
* This rate is for IEEE Members that live and work in R10 (Asia-Pacific) that is classified as a low income country. This applies to registrations from the following countries only: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Fiji, India, Indonesia, Laos, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu and Vietnam.
** The Industry Day rate is only for industry/corporate attendees and is only valid on Wednesday the 5th of December. This registration rate cannot be used if submitting a paper to the academic stream. This rate includes all activities held on the 5th of December including the gala dinner. This rate is intended for members of industry that would like to focus their engagement in activities specifically targeted at bringing industry and academia closer together and shaping the future graduate.
*** The K-12 Teacher 2 Day Pass is only for attendees with an occupation focused on teaching within the grades K-12 and is only valid on Tuesday the 4th and Wednesday the 5th of December. On the Tuesday the pass will cover the pre-conference workshops, conference opening with keynotes and the Welcome Reception. On the Wednesday the pass will cover all technical sessions, but will NOT include the conference dinner. This registration rate cannot be used if submitting a paper to the academic stream.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations for registration will only be accepted in writing.
Cancellations made on or before 30 October 2018 will be refunded 50%. No registration refunds will be made after this date. All refunds will be made at the conclusion of the Conference. Alternatively, your registration may be transferred to another person without penalty. A request to transfer must be made to the Organising Committee in writing.

VISA letters can be obtained after registration has been made and payment received. We will refund registration fees if your VISA application is rejected and you provide us with a copy of the rejection letter.
University accommodation can also be purchased during registration. Please note that there are only a limited number of rooms and are targeted at people from developing countries.

Day 1: Tuesday, 4 December (from 12 noon onwards)*: Pre-Conference Workshops + Opening Ceremony + Welcome Reception
Day 2: Wednesday, 5 December (full day): Main Conference Program (includes Industry Day) + Gala Dinner
Day 3: Thursday the 6 December (full day): Main Conference Program + Awards + Closing Ceremony
Day 4: Friday, 7th December: Social Program with optional tours - this is paid for during REGISTRATION (Note Tour 2 has been cancelled)
