Oracle Academy Offers Free STEM Teaching Resources

Have you been searching for top-notch classroom curriculum and resources to teach computing to students at varying levels of experience?

To engage students in computer science, educators need rigorous, robust academic curriculum that sparks curiosity while teaching critical knowledge and skills. As Oracle’s philanthropic educational program, Oracle Academy advances computing education globally to drive knowledge, innovation, skills development, and diversity in technology fields. We offer educational institutions and educators free classroom curriculum and resources, training, software, cloud-hosted technology, support, and Oracle certification resources.

Educators can use our modular curriculum and learning resources to help learners at all levels expand knowledge and develop skills. We work with learning institutions to provide the tools educators need to engage, inspire and prepare students to become innovators and leaders of the future. Through Oracle Academy, students receive hands-on experience with the latest technologies, helping make them college and career ready in the era of big data, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud computing, and beyond.

Resources

Our object-oriented programming curriculum includes Java Foundations and Java Programming. For more experienced students with a basic knowledge of Java concepts, data structures, and syntax, we now offer a new 40-hour course, Artificial Intelligence with Machine Learning in Java. Through this course, learners build a working knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts through hands-on projects that challenge them to design, implement, and demonstrate a business-oriented machine learning solution in Java.

Our database-focused curriculum includes Database Foundations, Database Design and Programming with SQL, Programming with PL/SQL, and APEX–Application Development Foundations for cloud-based applications learning and practice.
