Guidelines for Abstract-Only Proposals (Practitioner Stream)
The proposal template below should be used for submissions to the Practitioner Stream. This Stream is intended for K-12, VET/L&D and industry participants who which to present at the conference without authoring a paper for publication in the proceedings. To this end, they may submit proposals in the form of extended abstracts, for either traditional, stand-up presentations or for posters. A short description of the presentation or poster will be included in the conference program, but will NOT be published in the conference proceedings or on IEEE Xplore.
Abstract-only proposals for practitioner presentations and posters will be subjected to peer review by at least three reviewers. They should be 1–2 pages in length (including tables, figures and references) in standard IEEE double-column format and contain, at minimum, the following:
a) Short Description: A maximum 200-word summary of the proposed presentation or poster (For the conference program)
b) Purpose: What topic or issue will your presentation or poster address? Why is it important and/or relevant?
c) Target audience: Who is the target audience? Why would they be interested in your presentation or poster?
d) Audience engagement: How will you engage and encourage interaction with your audience?
e) Outcomes: What will the audience learn or gain? How will this benefit them, their students and/or their employers?

Proposals should be saved in PDF format and submitted via the conference's online submission system, Conftool. Please note that submissions cannot be accepted via email.
